Taking advantage of a couple of sunny weekends gave opportunity for some green laning and camping in the Peak District.
The weather couldn’t have been better.
And some hiking around Castleton and Edale.
Watching the paragliders.
Will was impressed with the scenery from Rushup Edge.
A pub meal then over to find our camp spot for the night.
Being treated to the best sunset I’ve seen in a long time.
We managed to cram in quite a lot of green laning for the next trip, although the truck’s paintwork has suffered quite a lot.
And in part 2 of insect porn…
Another camp spot.
With another awesome sunset.
It had clouded over a bit by the next morning.
But that didn’t spoil the views.
Winston playing the part of a tourist.
The weather improved in the afternoon.
Shepherding skills…
Some new lanes and old ones.
Required a little width checking, and spotting at one point.
A nice leisurely couple of weekends. But the truck could do with a thorough clean and polish now. I think I’ll wait for the rain…
